What is a domain transfer?
A domain transfer refers to the process of changing the designated registrar of a domain name. Once a transfer has been made, the new registrar will maintain all relevant information regarding the domain and the registrant.
Domain names may be transferred only if they have been registered with the previous registrar for 60 days or more.

Confirmation emails make sure you are transferring your domain to the right person. You can’t make the transfer without verifying your identity.
